How To Access
Important Information About the CNLA General Motors Fleet Program
- Members are encouraged to notify their fleet manager or fleet salesperson that they are Canadian Nursery Landscape Association (CNLA) members eligible for Competitive Assistance or Fleet Assistance.
- The CNLA program offers highly competitive benefits but cannot be combined with other incentives.
Process to Access Discounts:
To receive a discount at a dealership, the CNLA must issue a membership confirmation letter and a processing code to the sales representative.
Administration Fee: Before the membership confirmation letter is issued, a $200 administration fee per vehicle, payable to the CNLA, applies. (The fee is $400 for FIHOQ, ISAO, and Flowers Canada Growers members.)
Required Information for Processing:
- VIN (serial) number of the vehicle(s) being purchased
- Name and email address of the dealership’s sales representative
- Vehicle Registration Requirement: Vehicles must be registered under the name of a CNLA member company.
- Statutory Declaration Form Requirement (Effective December 1, 2018):
All companies using this program must sign the Statutory Declaration of Vehicle Purchase form, available on the CNLA website. This form confirms that the member’s business revenue is not related to the automotive industry, including but not limited to leasing companies, automotive sales, repair shops, or collision services. Businesses with connections to the automotive sector are excluded from participating in the General Motors Fleet Competitive Assistance Program. Members must also agree to the following:
- Vehicles purchased under the program must remain in Canada for at least six months and 12,000 kilometres.
- Vehicles must be purchased and licensed under the registered CNLA member company name on file with the Provincial Association.
- Members must adhere to the Vehicle Hold Period outlined in the program terms.
Important Notes:
Any false claims or agreement violations may result in a chargeback for discounts improperly received.
Members are strongly advised to confirm their eligibility before purchasing a vehicle to maximize their savings. Requesting discounts after a purchase is not recommended, as dealerships are not obligated to revise finalized agreements.
